About Sant'Anna Festival

Between the end of July and the beginning of August, the hamlet of Sant'Anastasio, in Cessalto (province of Treviso), comes alive with the Sant'Anna Festival: over two weeks of food stalls, ballroom dancing, live music, comedy shows, a funfair, and rides for children. It is one of the longest summer festivals in the lower Treviso area, attracting families and visitors from neighboring towns every evening for traditional Venetian dishes and dancing nights under the big tent.

The summer festival of Sant'Anastasio

The Sant'Anna Festival takes place in the hamlet of Sant'Anastasio, part of the Municipality of Cessalto, in the plain of the province of Treviso, on the border with eastern Veneto. Dedicated to Saint Anne, celebrated on July 26th, the event spans over two weeks between late July and early August, becoming one of the most anticipated summer events in the area.

Venetian Cuisine and Dancing Nights

The heart of the festival is the large food stall, where traditional Venetian dishes are served every evening accompanied by local wines. The evenings continue with ballroom dancing, live music, comedy shows, and DJ sets, in a convivial atmosphere that unites all generations of the town.

A Festival for Families

The festival dedicates ample space to families and children: the funfair and rides for children liven up the festival area for the entire duration of the event. Admission is free, and the extended duration allows you to choose your preferred evening from the many offerings.

Tradition of the Lower Treviso Area

Organized by the local committee, the Sant'Anna Festival is an authentic example of the popular culture of Venetian festivals, where the patronal feast blends with summer conviviality. A genuine opportunity to discover village life and the gastronomy of Veneto away from mass tourist circuits.

Sant'Anna Festival — edition 2026

The Sant'Anna Festival returns to Sant'Anastasio di Cessalto between late July and early August 2026, with the usual formula of over two weeks of celebration: food stalls with Venetian dishes, ballroom dancing nights and live music, comedy shows, a funfair, and rides for children.

The 2026 edition of the Sant'Anna Festival confirms the long schedule of evenings that has characterized the festival of Sant'Anastasio, a hamlet of Cessalto, for years. As per tradition, the event focuses around the feast of Saint Anne (July 26th) and continues until early August, with food stalls open every evening, musical entertainment, and attractions for children.

Programme Sant'Anna Festival 2026

The detailed 2026 program will be published by the committee on the official Facebook page shortly before the event. The usual structure of the festival includes:
