The Sant'Alessandro Celebrations are the most anticipated event of the year in Mosciano Sant'Angelo, a town in the province of Teramo, Abruzzo. Every late August, the town honors its patron saint, Sant'Alessandro of Bergamo, a martyr from the early centuries of Christianity whose liturgical feast day falls on August 26. For three days, the historic center is transformed: the main streets and the square are adorned with spectacular illuminations that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, while religious fervor and popular festivities intertwine.

The religious heart of the feast is the solemn procession, during which the venerated relic of the arm of Sant'Alessandro, kept by the local parish, is displayed and carried through the streets.
