The feast of Saints Nazarius and Celsus in the heart of Valbrenta
The San Nazario Village Festival is the summer festival of the hamlet of San Nazario, now part of the scattered municipality of Valbrenta, in the province of Vicenza. It takes place every year in July, spread over two weekends, and celebrates Saints Nazarius and Celsus, patrons of the community, remembered with a solemn mass.
The heart of the event is the food stand, which opens every evening from 7:00 PM and offers traditional Venetian specialties: grilled meat and fish, the famous bigoli pasta, tripe on Sunday mornings, 'panini onti', French fries, and beer. It's the genuine cuisine of Vicenza festivals, prepared by Pro Loco volunteers.
Each evening is enlivened by live music starting at 8:30 PM, with bands and groups taking turns on stage. There's also tombola and, as the grand finale of the festival, a laser show with special effects that illuminates the valley. An event that combines devotion, conviviality, and fun for the entire Valbrenta community.
The San Nazario Village Festival 2026 will return in July to the hamlet of Valbrenta, spread as usual over two weekends. The detailed program, with precise dates and guest music groups, will be published by the Pro Loco in the weeks preceding the event.
The usual ingredients remain confirmed: the solemn mass dedicated to the patron saints Nazarius and Celsus, the food stand open every evening from 7:00 PM with meat, fish, and bigoli pasta, live music from 8:30 PM, tombola, and the laser show to close.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition, including dates and music groups, will be announced by the Pro Loco in the weeks before the festival.
