Every early September, the small town of Camposano, in the heart of the Nola area and the Metropolitan City of Naples, gathers to celebrate its local excellence. The San Gavino Award is a cultural event that, edition after edition, has become a landmark for the region: an evening dedicated to those who, through their work and dedication, contribute to making the community stronger and more cohesive.

An award by Ars et Cultura

The award is conceived and organized by the cultural association Ars et Cultura, a very active organization in Camposano that hosts youth workshops, theater festivals, film forums, exhibitions, and charity initiatives. The San Gavino Award is the most anticipated event in its calendar and is traditionally held at the Opera Parrocchiale San Gavino, on Via Paolino Barbato, with free admission open to the entire public.

The award recipients

The September 6, 2025, edition honored Father Aniello Manganiello, a priest who has always been at the forefront of issues regarding legality and human dignity, and Elisabetta Vacchiano, a young agricultural entrepreneur dedicated to zero-mile production.
