San Beach Comix, comics by the sea
San Beach Comix is the main comic and pop culture fair on the Riviera delle Palme: every summer, at the beginning of July, it transforms the city center of San Benedetto del Tronto (province of Ascoli Piceno, in the Marche region) into a large fantasy village overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Founded in 2017 on the initiative of the Associazione Culturale Fumetti Indelebili (Indelible Comics Cultural Association), the event has grown edition after edition to become a key event for comic, cosplay, and gaming enthusiasts throughout central Italy.
A festival spread across the pedestrian area
The unique feature of San Beach Comix is its outdoor setting: instead of an exhibition hall, the streets and squares of the pedestrian zone of the Municipality of San Benedetto del Tronto host stands, stages, and themed areas, just a few meters from the famous palm trees along the seafront. This "beachside" format, combined with free admission, makes the event accessible to families, curious visitors, and tourists who flock to the Riviera during the summer months.

The tenth-anniversary edition
The 2026 edition marks an important milestone: the tenth edition. To celebrate it, the official poster has been entrusted to Paolo Barbieri, one of the most renowned fantasy illustrators internationally, who has reinterpreted the iconic Fisherman statue ("il Principe"), a symbol of the city, in a fantasy style, accompanied by a sea siren. This choice further links the world of comics to the maritime identity of San Benedetto del Tronto.

San Beach Comix 2026: The Tenth Edition
For its tenth edition, San Beach Comix returns to San Benedetto del Tronto on July 4 and 5, 2026, once again transforming the city center into a village dedicated to comics, cosplay, and pop culture. The tenth-anniversary poster is signed by Paolo Barbieri.
The program, still being finalized at the time of announcement, includes the publishers' area with the latest from the world of comics, the cosplay competition, the gaming area with tournaments and live demonstrations, the stage with music and K-pop shows, as well as workshops and autograph sessions with authors. The full list of guests will be announced by the organization in the weeks preceding the event.

When and where

How to get there
By train: San Benedetto del Tronto station is on the Bologna-Lecce Adriatic line, a short walk from the center. By car: take the San Benedetto del Tronto exit from the A14 highway. The city has numerous parking lots and a network of accommodation facilities on the Riviera delle Palme.
