Dolo's Patronal Festival
The Saint Roch Festival is the main popular event in Dolo (province of Venice): Saint Roch is the city's patron saint, and the festival, which takes place in mid-August for about twelve days, combines religious dimension, peasant tradition, and summer celebration in the heart of the Brenta Riviera.
Religion, Gastronomy, and Entertainment
The program alternates solemn masses and the procession in honor of the patron saint with secular events of great appeal: food stalls with traditional dishes and fried fish, amusement park, exhibitions, sport fishing, chess tournament, guided tours of the Duomo di San Rocco with evening climbs to the bell tower, bicycle excursions along the oratories of the Brenta villas, as well as the rock festival and the beer festival.
The Ancient Livestock Fair
The most characteristic moment is the Ancient Livestock Fair on August 16th: in the green area of Via Guolo, the ancient market returns from the morning with an extraordinary market between Via Guolo and Via Mazzini, in a link with the territory's rural past. The event is organized by Pro Loco Dolo together with the Parish of Dolo and the Municipality.

In 2026 too, Dolo prepares to celebrate its patron saint Saint Roch with its most important festival, traditionally held in mid-August and spread over about twelve days. The program includes solemn masses and procession, food stalls, amusement park, exhibitions, sport fishing, rock festival, and beer festival, as well as the Ancient Livestock Fair on August 16th in the Via Guolo area. The precise dates and detailed program will be published by Pro Loco Dolo and the Municipality in the weeks prior.
