About Saint Peter's Festival

In Campagna Lupia, in the Venetian hinterland along the southern lagoon, the Saint Peter's Festival celebrates the patron saint at the end of June with about ten days of festivities. Theatre performances, concerts and DJ sets, sports tournaments, a parade of allegorical floats, culinary evenings with traditional dishes, and the solemn Mass on June 29th: a rich and well-attended community festival, organized by the parish youth.

The Patron Saint of Campagna Lupia

The Saint Peter's Festival is the patronal feast of Campagna Lupia, a municipality in the metropolitan city of Venice overlooking the southern lagoon, about 25 km south-west of the provincial capital. It is celebrated at the end of June, with the solemn Mass on June 29th, the saint's day, and lasts for about ten days.

A Rich and Well-Attended Festival

The program is varied and engaging: theatre performances, concerts and DJ sets, live music evenings, Cuban music and karaoke, sports tournaments (five-a-side football, table football), activities for children, and the evocative parade of allegorical floats. The food stand offers the traditional menu of the Venetian hinterland: homemade gnocchi, mixed fried dishes, ribs and sausages, polenta and desserts, with special menu evenings.

Organized by the Parish Youth

The festival is managed by the Youth of the Parish of Campagna Lupia, with the support of local sponsors and the patronage of the Municipality. An event that combines devotion, gastronomy, and entertainment, and which represents one of the most anticipated moments of the summer for the lagoon community.
