The saint's knuckle and themed evenings of Creazzo's winter
When the cold arrives, Creazzo – a town near Vicenza known for its 'broccolo fiolaro' – warms up with the Saint Nicholas Festival. Between late November and December, a large covered and heated marquee welcomes gourmets for evenings dedicated to traditional Venetian and Central European cuisine.
The absolute star is the 'stinco di santo': a Bavarian-style dinner featuring pork knuckle, sauerkraut, and potatoes, preceded by a traditional porcini mushroom soup. Alongside this, the program offers themed evenings by reservation – such as the risotto evening or the evening dedicated to women – with zero-kilometer dishes in collaboration with A.Gen.Do.
In addition to good food, the evenings are enlivened by music and games, in a convivial atmosphere that makes the festival a meeting point for the inhabitants of Creazzo and the surrounding areas. The organization is managed by the Pro Loco of Creazzo, in the heart of the Vicenza region.
The 2026 edition of the Saint Nicholas Festival will take place between late November and December in Creazzo, featuring the 'stinco di santo', themed evenings by reservation, and traditional specialties under the Pro Loco's covered and heated marquee. Exact dates have not yet been published.
The detailed 2026 program is not yet available. Based on recent editions, the festival includes:
Creazzo (VI), covered and heated marquee. Some evenings require reservation.
Creazzo borders Vicenza, reachable by car from the A4 (Vicenza Ovest exit) or by public bus. Main train station: Vicenza.
