The Saint Mark the Evangelist Festival is the patronal feast of the Borgo Venezia district, in the eastern part of Verona. Dedicated to the patron saint Mark, whose feast day is April 25th, it takes place around that date with four days of celebration promoted by the parish community.
Good food and live music
The aroma of sausages on the hot grills accompanies the entire event: the covered food stalls, open from 7 PM, offer typical local dishes as well as ethnic specialties, reflecting the multicultural face of the district. Every evening there is live music, with evenings ranging from ballroom to Irish and Scottish sounds, to pop and blues.
Space for children and the community
There is also a flower stall and bouncy castles for children, ensuring fun for the little ones too. The evenings take place even in case of rain. Amidst laughter, friends, and good food, the Saint Mark Festival is an authentic moment of gathering for the districts of Verona, to be experienced away from the large tourist flows of the historic center.

From April 23rd to 26th, 2026, the Borgo Venezia district celebrates its patron saint with the Saint Mark the Evangelist Festival. Four days of good food and live music, with covered food stalls open from 7 PM and a program of musical evenings spanning different genres.

Borgo Venezia is located in the eastern part of Verona, well connected to the center by the urban ATV lines. By car, it can be reached from the Porta Vescovo area and the eastern ring road.
