The patronal feast between food and fun
The Saint George Festival is the patronal feast of San Giorgio in Bosco, a municipality in the Alta Padovana region, in the province of Padua. It takes place in April, around the feast day of the patron saint, and is spread over two long weekends of celebrations in the Via del Donatore area.
The food stand every evening
The heart of the festival is the covered food stand, open every evening with traditional Venetian dishes. Alongside the dining, the program offers a funfair, car and motorcycle rallies, live music and tribute bands, comedy shows, and a play area for the little ones, as well as days dedicated to solidarity with UNICEF and AVIS.
A festival for the whole community
Organized by the Associazione San Giorgio Eventi, the event is free to enter and represents one of the most cherished local events: a moment of gathering that combines the religious dimension of the patronal feast with fun for families, young people, and motor enthusiasts. Among the events are the Topolino car rally and the comedy shows.
Saint George Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Saint George Festival takes place over two weekends, April 17-18-19 and April 24-25-26, in the Via del Donatore area of San Giorgio in Bosco (PD).
Every evening, the covered food stand is open; the program includes a funfair, car and motorcycle rallies, live music and tribute bands, comedy shows, a children's area, and days with UNICEF and AVIS. On Sunday, April 26, the Topolino car rally and the "DO-NA-RE" comedy show are scheduled.
