About Saint Bartholomew Festival

At the end of August, Monzambano celebrates its patron saint Bartholomew with three evenings of festivities in Piazza Tito Zaniboni. Food stalls with traditional dishes, a play area for children, and plenty of live music: tribute bands, dance orchestras, and cover bands take turns on stage each night, in a village festival that brings together the community of the morainic hills of Mantua Garda in a cheerful and convivial atmosphere.

Monzambano Celebrates Its Patron Saint

The Saint Bartholomew Festival is the patronal feast of Monzambano (Province of Mantua), dedicated to the town's patron saint, celebrated on August 24th. For three evenings, the town centre comes alive around Piazza Tito Zaniboni and the Piazzetta delle Arti, where the stalls and shows of a festival deeply cherished by the community of the morainic hills of Garda are concentrated.

Food, Games, and Music

The heart of the festival is the food stall, open every evening from 7:30 PM, offering local traditional dishes accompanied by wines and beer. For the little ones, a play area with inflatables is set up, while the evening program focuses heavily on live music, with a rotation of tribute bands, dance orchestras, and DJ sets that get the audience dancing and singing until late at night.

A Community Festival

Organized with the contribution of local associations, the Saint Bartholomew Festival combines the religious dimension of the patronal feast with the popular and convivial aspect typical of Lombard summer festivals. It is an event that closes Monzambano's summer, bringing together residents, holidaymakers, and visitors from the Mantua Garda region in a festive and social atmosphere.
