The Saint Aloysius Gonzaga Festival is one of the most anticipated events in the summer calendar of San Donaci, a town in northern Salento in the province of Brindisi, in the Puglia region. Around June 21st, the date of the liturgical memorial of the young Jesuit saint, the town unites in devotion, transforming it into a collective celebration that combines religious rites, rural traditions, and conviviality.
