The Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel
The Sagretta del Carmine is the feast dedicated to the Blessed Virgin of Mount Carmel in the Stazione district of Cittadella, in the province of Padua. It combines religious and popular elements, in one of the most cherished July traditions of the walled city.
Between Faith and Tradition
The main devotional moment is the Sunday Mass at the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, followed by the characteristic blessing of cars along Viale della Stazione. On Saturday evening, the feast becomes more convivial, with the food stand, the artisan market, music, and entertainment for children.
A Charitable Feast
The proceeds from the Sagretta del Carmine are donated to charity, confirming the community and solidarity spirit of the event, organized with the support of Pro Cittadella. It's an occasion that tells the story of the bond between faith, tradition, and neighborhood life in the heart of the Veneto region.

The 2026 edition of the Sagretta del Carmine is confirmed on Cittadella's event calendar for July. The religious dimension, with Mass for Our Lady of Mount Carmel and the blessing of cars, and the popular one, with a food stand, artisan market, and music, are renewed.
