Edition 2025 — Sagra te lu Furese
Sagra te lu Furese e te la Paparina 2025
The 2025 edition was held on August 6 at Parco Montegrappa in Tuglie, Salento, with the combined formula te lu furese e te la paparina. The stars of the evening were two ingredients of Salento's cucina povera: lu furese, fresh sausage stuffed according to local tradition, and la paparina, cooked as a side dish with black olives and chili pepper.
The Pro Loco of Tuglie stands offered tastings of peasant cuisine, roasted and fried peppers, orecchiette, and meatballs in sauce, all prepared on the spot by local cooks. The festival was enlivened by live music with pizzica and Salento folk groups, craft markets, and exhibitions dedicated to folk traditions, in a festive atmosphere that involved families and visitors on the Montegrappa hill.
