A Ferragosto Festival in the Heart of Isola Vicentina
In August, Isola Vicentina, a municipality in the upper Vicenza area, experiences a succession of popular festivals spread across its various districts and hamlets. The Sagra dell'Assunta, held in Via Fabbrega, is the one that takes place right around Ferragosto, in honour of the Assumption of Mary into heaven, a deeply felt occasion in Venetian Catholic tradition.
Two Evenings of Folk Celebration
The festival unfolds over two evenings, with a food stand offering Venetian cuisine and the unmissable music for dancing and socialising. It is a district festival in the truest sense of the word: organised by the COASI Association of Isola Vicentina, which manages the traditional village festivals throughout August, and admission is completely free.

In 2026, the Fabbrega district will once again celebrate the Assumption of Mary with its Ferragosto festival, scheduled for around August 14-15. Two evenings with a food stand and music, following the tradition of the Isola festivals organised every August by the COASI Association.
