The Sagra di San Tommaso Apostolo is one of the most cherished events of the summer in Albignasego, in the province of Padua. Organized by the parish of San Tommaso, it combines the religious dimension of the patronal festival with the popular and convivial one for ten days, centred around the parish centre in Via San Tommaso.
Gastronomy and fun for everyone
The food stall is open every evening and offers themed nights: from Piadinissimi night to Hamburger night, from Arrosticini to fried fish. For the little ones, there is the area with mega inflatables, the mechanical bull, construction toy tournaments, face painting, and, among the novelties of recent editions, also a mechanical surf simulator and a cocktail corner in the tavern. Not to be missed are the charity raffle and the watermelon stand.
July 3rd, the heart of the festival
The most solemn moment is July 3rd, the day of Saint Thomas the Apostle, the patron saint: at 6 PM, the solemn Mass presided over by the Bishop of Padua, followed by a procession through the neighbourhood streets accompanied by the brass band. As every year, the festival also supports a solidarity project, confirming the community spirit that has animated it for generations.

The Sagra di San Tommaso 2026 returns to Albignasego from June 27 to July 6 with ten days of festivities for the patron saint. The formula is confirmed with a food stall, mid-week themed evenings, mega inflatables and attractions for children, a charity raffle, and moments of solidarity. The religious focus remains on July 3rd, the solemnity of Saint Thomas, with the solemn Mass presided over by the Bishop of Padua and the procession accompanied by the brass band.

The Sagra di San Tommaso 2026 is spread over ten days, from June 27 to July 6. Every evening, attractions for children and families are available (charity raffle, watermelon stand, ice cream, mega inflatables area, mechanical bull, mechanical surf simulator, face painting) and the tavern's cocktail corner.
