The patronal feast of Saints Peter and Paul that brings Lamon together at the end of June
The Sagra di San Pietro is the patronal feast of Lamon, a municipality in the province of Belluno dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul, celebrated on June 29th. Every year, around this anniversary, the Pro Loco Lamon APS organizes several days of celebration that combine the religious dimension with a more convivial and popular one.
The heart of the festival are the food stalls, where you can taste the local specialties. Lamon is famous throughout Italy for its PGI bean, the star of many local dishes, alongside fried fish and traditional Belluno cuisine.
The festival program alternates moments of entertainment and musical evenings with religious solemnity. Among the most cherished events are the San Pietro choral concert and the performance of the Alpine Band, which recall the strong alpine identity of the plateau. The festival is also an opportunity to meet the local associations, from folklore groups like "Drio le Peche" to the Pro Loco volunteers.
Taking place in the height of summer, the Sagra di San Pietro is one of the most anticipated events in the Lamon calendar, an opportunity to discover an authentic corner of the Belluno region amidst religious traditions, gastronomy, and landscapes opening towards the Dolomites.
The 2026 edition of the Sagra di San Pietro in Lamon will take place on the weekend of June 27th and 28th, according to the calendar published by Pro Loco Lamon APS. Saturday, June 27th, is dedicated to the patronal feast, while Sunday, June 28th, hosts the San Pietro choral concert and the performance of the Alpine Band along with the "Drio le Peche" group.
As tradition dictates, the food stalls will offer specialties from the Belluno plateau, with the opportunity to discover dishes featuring the famous Lamon bean. The festival is part of a rich summer calendar of events organized by the Pro Loco.
The detailed program with timings will be published by Pro Loco Lamon in the weeks preceding the festival.
