Artistic Crafts in the Medieval Citadel
The Mostra dell'Artigianato Artistico e Tradizionale Città di Feltre is one of the historic events of the Feltre summer and one of the most fascinating craft exhibitions in the Veneto region. For four days, the historic centre of Feltre (province of Belluno), with its famous Renaissance citadel, welcomes exhibitors and master artisans who bring to life the courtyards of the palaces, the streets, and the ancient houses of the village.
The Blacksmith Competition and the Rizzarda Prize
The most spectacular moment of the event is the blacksmith forging competition, with the prestigious prize named after master Carlo Rizzarda, a renowned wrought iron artist from the Feltrino area. In front of the public, blacksmiths work incandescent metal, transforming it into works of art, in a contest that combines technique, creativity, and centuries-old tradition.
Forty Editions and the Cultural Olympics
Now in its 40th edition, the exhibition is a fixture on Feltre's cultural calendar. The 2026 edition is part of the initiatives for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympics, testifying to the identity value of an event that promotes manual skills and artisanal excellence in the Dolomite region.

From June 25 to 28, 2026, the historic centre of Feltre hosts the 40th edition of the Mostra dell'Artigianato Artistico e Tradizionale. In the palace courtyards, streets, and ancient houses, the creations of master artisans are exhibited, while the medieval citadel serves as the backdrop for numerous shows. The highlight of the event is the blacksmith forging competition with the Carlo Rizzarda prize. The edition is part of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympics.

Feltre (BL) can be reached by train on the Padova–Belluno line and by car via the SS50. The historic centre is pedestrianised: it is advisable to park near the walls.
