The patron saint's festival of Alte Ceccato

The Festa Patronale di San Paolo is the main religious and popular event in Alte Ceccato, a hamlet of Montecchio Maggiore in the province of Vicenza. It is celebrated at the end of June, around the feast of Saints Peter and Paul (June 29th), and lasts for several days in Piazza San Paolo.

Faith and procession

The spiritual heart of the festival lies in the religious celebrations, including a solemn Mass and the procession that carries the statue of Saint Paul through the streets of the hamlet. It is a moment of devotion deeply felt by the parish community.

Food stalls, dancing, and fun

Alongside the religious dimension, the festival offers a food stall with homemade specialties, dancing evenings with orchestras, shows, entertainment for families, and 80s and 90s music. There is also a missionary market, a charity raffle, and a lottery, all supporting the parish's activities.

Organised by the Parrocchia San Paolo Alte (Parish of San Paolo Alte) with the patronage of the Municipality of Montecchio Maggiore and the collaboration of the Pro Loco of Alte Montecchio, the Festa Patronale di San Paolo represents a moment of gathering that brings together the community of Alte Ceccato and its surroundings.
