The Sagra di Cadoneghe is the community festival of the Municipality of Cadoneghe, on the outskirts of Padua, and takes place in the grounds of the parish church of Sant'Andrea Apostolo, at Via Garibaldi 2. For about ten days, between late May and early June, the village gathers around a food stand and an evening program of music and dancing.
Food stand and dancing evenings
The heart of the festival is the food stand, open every evening from 7:00 PM, featuring Venetian cuisine specialties. The evenings are enlivened by orchestras and bands for ballroom dancing and by shows, with events also designed for younger audiences, such as rock dance music nights. A tried-and-tested formula that makes the Sagra di Cadoneghe a meeting point for the entire area.
A community festival on the outskirts of Padua
Organized by the parish with the support of volunteers, the festival is one of the most cherished events in the local calendar. It should not be confused with the patron saint's festival of Sant'Andrea, which is celebrated in Cadoneghe on November 30th.
Sagra di Cadoneghe — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Sagra di Cadoneghe offers ten days of music, food, and conviviality from May 22 to June 2 (closed May 27 and 28). The food stand opens every evening at 7:00 PM with Venetian specialties, while the stage hosts dancing evenings, shows, and events for young people.
