The Sagra del Portello is the festival of the Portello district, the historic university area of Padua overlooking the Piovego canal, next to the ancient river port. For a few days Piazza Portello transforms into the pulsating heart of the district, with a program that combines music, culture, gastronomy and sociality.
A festival of inclusivity
The event, also promoted with the collaboration of Legambiente Padova, goes beyond the traditional sagra: it presents itself as a festival of inclusivity, attentive to social and environmental issues, capable of bringing together university students, residents and the elderly of the district. Among concerts, exhibitions, conferences, bars and food stands, Portello experiences evenings of widespread celebration.
