Among the most popular is the Sagra della Costina e della Porchetta, which in July brings three days of taste and music to the lakefront.
Flavors of the festival
The stars of the table are the ribs, marinated with aromatic herbs and slowly cooked on a hot stone, and the Ariccia porchetta, accompanied by a vegetarian menu with grilled vegetables and local cheeses for those who prefer a meat-free alternative. A curated gastronomic offering, combining the tradition of grilling with the quality of the ingredients.
Music on the lakefront
Each evening is accompanied by live concerts and piano bar moments, with bands and ensembles ranging from soul to funk to pop dance. You eat outdoors, on the Caldè lakefront, with a view of Lake Maggiore and the famous beach with the remains of ancient lime kilns. An event that tells the authentic summer of Lombardy by the lake.

The 2026 edition of the Sagra della Costina e della Porchetta di Caldè is expected, as tradition dictates, on a weekend in July on the Caldè lakefront, a hamlet of Castelveccana. The Pro Loco Castelveccana will offer marinated ribs cooked on a hot stone, Ariccia porchetta and a vegetarian menu, with evenings of live concerts and piano bar.
