Edition 2025 — Sagra dell'Alborella

The 49th edition of the Sagra dell'Alborella took place from August 29 to September 7, 2025, on the shores of Lake Alserio in Inverigo. Fried, marinated, and sautéed alborella with polenta was once again the star, at an event organised by U.S. Villa Romanò with nearly half a century of history.

In 2025, the 49th edition of the Sagra dell'Alborella enlivened the Villa Romanò Sports Centre in Inverigo, province of Como, from August 29 to September 7. On the shores of Lake Alserio, the food stalls offered alborella in its traditional recipes – fried in crispy batter, marinated with vinegar and onion, sautéed with aromatic herbs – always accompanied by steaming polenta and Lombard white wines. Organised by U.S. Villa Romanò, the festival confirmed its role as an anticipated end-of-summer event in Brianza comasca, celebrating a humble yet iconic product of Larian cuisine.
