Three days dedicated to pork and the gastronomic tradition of the Bassa Bresciana
The Sagra del Pursèl is the most anticipated gastronomic event in Fiesse, a small town in the Bassa Bresciana on the border with the province of Cremona. The name comes from the Brescian dialect: "pursèl" means pig, the absolute protagonist animal of a festival that for over thirty years has celebrated the agricultural and pork butchery tradition of the area.
The festival, organized by Pro Loco Fiesse APS with the collaboration of local associations and the work of many volunteers, takes place over three days at the end of November. It is divided into an entirely covered area, alongside an outdoor area with food and craft stalls. Two different menus are offered: a simpler one on Friday, with few courses, and a richer and more complete one for Saturday and Sunday.
The most characteristic moment is the demonstration of pork processing, which every year on Sunday is offered by the association of "Norcini Lombardi": an ancient ritual that brings back to life the gestures and knowledge of the pork butchery tradition of the Po Valley. The Sagra del Pursèl thus combines good food, popular culture, and sociality, in an authentic setting in the province of Brescia. Every year the complete menu and posters are published on the Pro Loco's website and social media channels.
The 2026 edition of the Sagra del Pursèl di Fiesse will be the 35th: a milestone for a festival that has been a reference gastronomic event in the Bassa Bresciana for over thirty years.
The event, organized by Pro Loco Fiesse APS, takes place over three days at the end of November in the town's covered area. Two menus are planned – a simpler one on Friday and a complete one for Saturday and Sunday – and the unmissable pork processing demonstration, offered on Sunday by the "Norcini Lombardi". The exact dates and the complete menu will be published by the Pro Loco on its official channels closer to the event.
The precise schedule and menu for the 2026 edition will be published by Pro Loco Fiesse APS on its website and social media in the weeks leading up to the festival. Usual structure:
