Twelve days of gastronomy, music, and street art in Maron di Brugnera
When summer arrives, the hamlet of Maron, part of the Municipality of Brugnera in the province of Pordenone, transforms into the beating heart of community life. The Sagra de Maron is one of those events that mark the village calendar: almost two weeks of celebration combining good food, fun, sport, and culture, animated by the enthusiasm of Pro Loco Maron and the many local volunteers.
The gastronomic stand is one of the main stars: from grilled fish to paella, from tripe to craft beers, with a particular focus on local cuisine. The stand remains open in the evenings (from 7:30 PM on weekdays, from 7:00 PM on weekends), allowing you to dine outdoors with company before the shows.
The Sagra de Maron is not just about food. Among the most popular events is "Maron tra i Colori", an evening dedicated to street artists with face painting, fire shows, and acrobatics. Every evening, tribute bands and DJ sets take the stage, while the cultural program hosts art exhibitions such as "Legno: Forma e Memoria", dedicated to works in wood, marble, and mosaic, and "Raccontami, Dimmi di Te", featuring watercolors and cyanotypes. There's also a small funfair, games for children, and tournaments, like the cornhole tournament.
The closing evening is dedicated to the traditional sweet auctions, a moment of collective celebration where cakes and sweets prepared by the community are auctioned off: a ritual that tells the story of the Sagra de Maron's spirit of solidarity and family better than anything else.
The 2026 edition of the Sagra de Maron will be held from June 25 to July 6 in the hamlet of Maron, Brugnera (PN).
