Edition 2025 — Sagne co' gliù Beccalà

The 2025 edition of the Sagne co' gliù Beccalà Festival took place on Saturday, August 16, in Pisoniano, in the historic square. Food stalls were open from 8:00 PM with hand-rolled sagne served with cod sauce, sausage sandwiches, and French fries, with wine provided by the organizers and folk music throughout the evening. The Hemp Museum was also open during the day.

On Saturday, August 16, 2025, Pisoniano renewed its most anticipated summer appointment with the Sagne co' gliù Beccalà Festival. In the historic square, at an altitude of 500 meters in the Prenestini Mountains, food stalls opened at 8:00 PM with the village's signature dish: hand-rolled sagne, served with a red cod sauce according to the recipe passed down by local families.

Alongside the sagne, the stands offered sausage sandwiches, French fries, and other local specialties, while wine was provided to participants by the organizers, as per the festival's tradition. The evening continued with folk music and dancing in the square.

During the day, the Hemp Museum remained open, set up across three floors of an ancient building, dedicated to the cultivation and processing of Aniene hemp practiced in Pisoniano until the 1960s. On the eve of the festival, Wednesday, August 13, the square hosted an evening aperitif with a DJ set.
