Italian and international Haute Couture on the runway at the Salone delle Colonne in the EUR district
In the heart of Rome's EUR district, the Salone delle Colonne at Piazza Guglielmo Marconi hosts the Rome Fashion Show #Haute Couture, a summer highlight dedicated to Italian and international High Fashion. Conceived and directed by Steven G. Torrisi—who brings thirty years of industry experience—the event has become a cornerstone of the capital's fashion calendar, uniting historic couture labels and the next generation of designers within a monumental setting.
The format spans two evenings, each with a distinct focus. The first is dedicated to new talent and eco-sustainability, featuring runway shows from young creatives from European fashion academies and collections crafted from low-impact materials. The second celebrates the Ambassadors of Haute Couture, presenting the work of major fashion houses and international guests who bring the excellence of Made in Italy sartorial craft to the catwalk.
Beyond the runway, the Rome Fashion Show distinguishes itself with a mission that extends past aesthetics. Alongside fashion, the event addresses themes of legality, gender-based violence prevention, and emotional education through discussions with professionals and institutions. On the environmental front, a partnership with the Fondazione UniVerde and Coldiretti places eco-sustainable fashion at the forefront.
The choice of the Salone delle Colonne in the EUR—one of Rome's most scenic spaces with its monumental columns—gives the event a solemn and iconic character. Held in the metropolitan city of Rome, the event enjoys the patronage of major institutions, establishing itself as one of the most refined showcases of the Roman summer for lovers of designer fashion.
This third edition confirms the two-evening format. July 18 is dedicated to new talent from European academies and eco-sustainability, featuring a moment of reflection on legality, gender-based violence prevention, and emotional education, with the involvement of the Fondazione UniVerde and Coldiretti. On July 19, the runways are entrusted to six historic fashion houses and their international ambassadors. The event enjoys the patronage of the Lazio Region, Roma Capitale, CNA Federmoda, and other institutions, with a worldwide broadcast on MR TV Models Runway.
