The Roma TISS Cup

The Roma TISS Cup is one of the most anticipated youth football tournaments in the capital and marks the opening of the national TISS Game tournament season. The event takes place in Rome, in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, Lazio, and attracts teams from all over Italy for a long weekend entirely dedicated to young players.

Tournament Format

Organised in collaboration with US Boreale, the Roma TISS Cup is held at the Officine dello Sport (Don Orione) sports centre on Via della Camilluccia. The facility features an 11-a-side pitch, two 8-a-side pitches, and five 5-a-side pitches, allowing dozens of matches to be played simultaneously. The first two days are reserved for the qualifying rounds, while the final day is dedicated to the finals, complete with a presentation ceremony and the closing awards.

• U9 – Primi Calci (born in 2017): 5-a-side, two 15-minute halves
• U10 – Pulcini (2016): 7-a-side
• U11 – Pulcini (2015): 7-a-side
• U12 – Esordienti (2014): 9-a-side, two 20-minute halves
• U13 – Esordienti (2013): 9-a-side, two 20-minute halves

The Prize: Motion International Cup

The real added value of the Roma TISS Cup is the prize reserved for the winners of each category: direct access to the Motion International Cup, with no registration fee required. These are international tournaments held in Spain and Italy, where young footballers can test themselves against the youth academies of major European professional clubs such as Juventus, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and Inter. A rare opportunity to experience high-level football from a young age.

An Event for Families

Beyond the sport, the Roma TISS Cup is designed as an experience for the whole family: three days of matches, cheering, and socialising in a facility nestled in the greenery of northern Rome, between Monte Mario and Camilluccia. For many youth clubs, it is also the perfect occasion to start the year with a trip to the capital.
