The collectors' convention at the Seraphicum in the EUR district
Roma Colleziona, also known as the Rome Collecting Day, is one of the most popular collectors' conventions in the capital. The event takes place several times a year within the Seraphicum complex, located on Via del Serafico in the EUR district of Rome, and has become a landmark for enthusiasts from across the Lazio region and beyond.
The event is a large exhibition and market that brings together specialized traders and exhibitors from all over Italy. At the stalls, you can find all kinds of collectibles:
Unlike many festivals tied to a single date, Roma Colleziona returns several times throughout the year, typically with events in spring, summer, and before the Christmas holidays. This frequency allows collectors to regularly follow market trends and complete their collections, while newcomers find an ideal opportunity to explore the world of collecting with the help of expert exhibitors.
The Seraphicum, with its guesthouse, offers spacious, easily accessible indoor areas. Its location in the EUR district, well-served by public transport and equipped with parking, makes the event convenient for both Roman visitors and those arriving from the provinces of Lazio. Admission is free, as is parking, a detail that contributes to the success of every edition.
Beyond buying and selling, Roma Colleziona is primarily a moment for meeting and exchange among enthusiasts. It is here that friendships are formed, knowledge is shared, and the traditions of collecting are passed down—a passion that boasts a long history in Rome and the Lazio region. The organization is managed by Ivo Fossati (Athena), who has been running similar conventions in various Italian cities for years, bringing a well-established event to the Lazio region.
On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the Seraphicum complex hosted a new day of Roma Colleziona, a spring event highly anticipated by collectors in the capital. At the exhibitors' stalls, one could find coins, stamps, postcards, paper money, holy cards, and militaria memorabilia, while free admission encouraged the influx of enthusiasts and curious visitors from Rome and across the Lazio region.
