The international modern and contemporary art fair at the Nuvola di Fuksas
Every November, Roma Arte in Nuvola brings the Nuvola to lifeโthe iconic Roma Convention Center designed by Massimiliano Fuksas in the EUR district of Rome. Launched in 2021 by Alessandro Nicosia and the company C.O.R. Creare Organizzare Realizzare, the event has quickly established itself as one of the most anticipated dates on the artistic calendar of the capital and the entire Lazio region, attracting collectors, gallery owners, curators, and art enthusiasts alike.
Each edition brings together over 140 national and international galleries, offering a panoramic view that ranges from the great masters of modern art to the most experimental contemporary research. The exhibition layout is divided into thematic sections to help visitors navigate the space:
Alongside the galleries, Roma Arte in Nuvola offers a rich collateral program: a Guest Country of honor (past editions have featured Israel, Ukraine, Australia, Portugal, and South Korea), special projects including exhibitions, installations, and performances, a dense calendar of talks with key figures from the art world, book presentations, workshops, and awards for artists and galleries. The event actively involves the Ministry of Culture, the Lazio Region, and the City of Rome in shaping its artistic and curatorial program.
With tens of thousands of visitors at every edition, the fair has become a vital point of dialogue between the public and the art world, transforming the glass architecture of the Nuvola into a grand cultural hub. For those visiting Rome in November, it is the perfect opportunity to combine city sightseeing with an immersion into international modern and contemporary art.
The sixth edition of Roma Arte in Nuvola will be held from November 20 to 22, 2026, at the Nuvola di Fuksas in the EUR district of Rome. Once again, the fair will bring together over 140 national and international galleries across its Main Section, Solo Show, Photography, and New Entries categories. The guest country for this edition is Germany, with a project curated by Gregor Jansen and Julia Apitzsch, realized in collaboration with the German Embassy in Italy. Among the special projects, a highlight is the tribute to Corrado Cagli on the fiftieth anniversary of his passing. The official presentation of the full program is scheduled for the press conference on October 13, 2026.
