The steak festival
Riosecco in Festa is the summer sagra (food festival) of the hamlet of Riosecco, in Città di Castello (province of Perugia), organized by the Società Rionale Riosecco. The star is the grilled steak, cooked according to tradition and accompanied by the best recipes of Umbrian cuisine prepared with local products. One of the most appreciated gastronomic festivals in Valtiberina.
Five evenings of celebration
For about five evenings, the centre of the festival comes alive with food stands, bars, games, and especially live music, with dance orchestras accompanying the evenings. A tried-and-tested formula that combines a passion for good grilled meat with the pleasure of being together, in a genuine and popular atmosphere.
A community festival
Like many sagre in the villages of the Upper Tiber Valley, Riosecco in Festa is also a moment for the community, where the hamlet comes together around its flavours. An event that attracts visitors from Città di Castello and throughout Valtiberina, to discover the most authentic Umbria.
