The name says it all: Revèrso is the inversion of the theatrical space, from the inner heart of Villa Torlonia towards the outside of its courtyard. When summer arrives, the permanent theatre of San Mauro Pascoli moves outdoors, transforming the villa's garden into an open-air auditorium under the stars. It is here, in the Municipality of San Mauro Pascoli, in the province of Forlì-Cesena, that one of the most beloved events of the Romagna cultural summer is renewed each year.

The festival takes place at Villa Torlonia — Parco Poesia Pascoli, the place of memory linked to Giovanni Pascoli: the villa, known as "la Torre" (the Tower), was at the center of the agricultural estates that the poet's father, Ruggero, managed. Revèrso is the theatrical heart of the Estate Sammaurese (Sammaurese Summer), the rich program of summer events that the Municipality of San Mauro Pascoli offers between June and August, with concerts, exhibitions, and entertainment. In the same spaces of Villa Torlonia, there are also collateral events, such as photographic exhibitions and opera evenings, which make the villa a vibrant cultural hub throughout the season.
