Nine evenings of beer, Emilian cuisine, and live music at Parco dei Salici
The Beer Festival of Reggiolo, renamed in recent years Reggiolo Beer Fest, is one of the most established summer events in the calendar of the Municipality of Reggiolo, in the province of Reggio Emilia (Emilia-Romagna). Founded in 1992, the event has grown edition after edition to become a benchmark for the entire Bassa reggiana and the bordering lands of the Po River and the Gonzaga, on the border with the province of Mantua.
The heart of the festival is the Parco dei Salici, on Via IV Novembre: a large green area that every June transforms into a village dedicated to good drinking, good food, and music. Admission is free, and the environment is designed to be welcoming for families, groups of friends, and beer enthusiasts of all ages.
As the name suggests, the star is beer: several tapping points offer a wide selection of craft and traditional labels, from classic lagers to more full-bodied beers. Accompanying the pints is traditional Emilian cuisine served in the saloon, with grilled meats, piadina sandwiches, burgers, an ice cream parlor, and desserts. There are also cocktail bars, food stalls, and craft and hobby stalls.
The music program is one of the event's strengths: each evening features live concerts, tribute bands, DJ sets, and shows ranging from international hits to '90s and 2000s revivals, up to the more typical folk music evenings of village festivals. A formula that combines popular tradition and entertainment for a broad and diverse audience.
The Beer Festival is not just about fun: it has always been organized for charitable purposes, and the proceeds support social and solidarity projects in the Reggiolo area. For the 2026 edition, the event has been taken over by the new Associazione Parco dei Salici APS, which has picked up the baton from the historic Sarabiga group thanks to a coalition of local associations and over 150 volunteers. An authentic generational handover that has allowed the saving and relaunch of one of Reggiolo's identity events, alongside the famous Pumpkin Festival.
For 2026, the Beer Festival of Reggiolo returns to Parco dei Salici from June 12 to 20 with nine consecutive evenings of music, beer, and Emilian cuisine. It is the relaunch edition, the first entrusted to the new Associazione Parco dei Salici APS after the handover from the historic Sarabiga group, made possible by a coalition of local associations and over 150 volunteers.
The winning formula is confirmed: a wide selection of craft and traditional beers at the various tapping points, traditional cuisine in the saloon, and a program of shows that enlivens the park until late every night.
Each evening is accompanied by beer stands, Emilian cuisine in the saloon, and craft and hobby stalls.
