The historic enological exhibition of Refrontolo Passito in the Prosecco hills
The Refrontolo Wine Exhibition is one of the oldest enological events in the Prosecco hills, in the Municipality of Refrontolo (province of Treviso). It takes place between late April and early May and is organized by the Pro Loco of Refrontolo, based between Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and the Barchessa of Villa Spada.
The stars of the exhibition are the Refrontolo Passito DOCG, the sweet wine symbol of the town, and the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, along with a selection of the best local wines. Tastings are accompanied by local cuisine, with specialties such as spiedo (spit-roasted meat), chicken, braised meat, and churrasco.
The event is part of the Prosecco Superiore Spring, the circuit that brings together the enological exhibitions of the UNESCO heritage hills. In Refrontolo, the exhibition is also an occasion for celebration and conviviality, with the Marcia del Refrontolo Passito (Refrontolo Passito Walk) through the vineyards, musical moments, and awards: not just a wine showcase, but a celebration of local identity and community.
The 55th Refrontolo Wine Exhibition runs from April 25 to May 10, 2026, with inauguration on April 25 at 4:30 PM at the Barchessa of Villa Spada (Via Capretta 1), accompanied by the Moriago Band and the Refrontolo Band. The event, part of the Prosecco Superiore Spring circuit, celebrates its 55th anniversary with a rich food and wine program.
The stars are the Refrontolo Passito DOCG and the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, accompanied by local cuisine.
During the exhibition, the 41st Marcia del Refrontolo Passito (Refrontolo Passito Walk) also takes place, with flexible start times from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM (Refrontolo Marching Group). Stands open in the evenings from 7:00 PM and for lunch on holidays.
