Re Panettone is the festival entirely dedicated to artisanal panettone, the symbolic dessert of Milanese Christmas. The event takes place in late November at the Novegro Exhibition Park, in the Municipality of Segrate (Metropolitan City of Milan), a stone's throw from Linate airport and the Lombard capital.
Created to celebrate and promote artisanal pastry making, Re Panettone brings together master pastry chefs from all over Italy, who bring their interpretations of the great leavened cake to Milan — from the classic recipe with raisins and candied fruit to the most creative variations. It's an opportunity for the public to taste, compare, and discover the excellence of the sector, far from industrial production.
