The mountain bike race for young riders in Val di Fiemme
The Rampy Baby is one of the most anticipated events on the Trentino youth mountain bike calendar. It takes place in Panchià, a small town in the Val di Fiemme in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige), and is organized by the Unione Sportiva Litegosa, a local club deeply rooted in the area. The race is part of the Trentino Mtb Futuro DAO Conad Circuit, a championship that supports the development of young bikers through a series of events scattered across the valleys of Trentino.
Rampy Baby is designed exclusively for the Giovanissimi category, the youngest bikers divided into age groups from G1 to G6, with separate male and female rankings. To respect different ages and abilities, the event offers three courses of varying length and difficulty, ensuring every child can compete on a track suited to their level. It is the ideal setting to get into cross-country cycling safely, amidst fun and healthy competition.
The Panchià race is part of a circuit that visits numerous locations in Trentino, involving sports clubs from across the region. At Rampy Baby, teams such as Litegosa itself, Polisportiva Oltrefersina, Lagorai Bike, and teams from outside the region compete. In addition to individual category rankings, a highly contested team ranking is awarded, often decided by just a few points.
More than just a competition, Rampy Baby is a celebration of youth sports that involves families, volunteers, and enthusiasts. Set in the stunning Dolomite scenery of the Val di Fiemme, the day combines competitive activity with the pleasure of experiencing the mountains, in the welcoming atmosphere typical of the villages in this area of the Trentino town of Panchià.
The Rampy Baby 2026 took place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, in Panchià, confirming its place on the Trentino Mtb Futuro DAO Conad Circuit calendar. The event, managed by the local club Unione Sportiva Litegosa, once again offered three courses dedicated to the various Giovanissimi age groups, from G1 to G6.
The event was part of the spring-summer stages of the circuit, in a day of racing that brought the Val di Fiemme to life with the participation of numerous clubs from Trentino and beyond, in a festive atmosphere of youth sport.
Panchià is located in the Val di Fiemme, along the SS48 Dolomite state road. By car, it can be reached from Trento by following the Avisio Valley (approx. 50 km). By train, the most convenient stations are Trento or Ora, from which you can continue with direct bus services to Val di Fiemme.
The race is reserved for registered members of the Giovanissimi categories. Registration for the Trentino Mtb Futuro DAO Conad Circuit and individual events takes place through federal channels and the circuit's dedicated platform. Information is available on the official website trentinomtb.com and at the Unione Sportiva Litegosa.
