Rajche, Roots in Common

The fifteenth edition of "Rajche, Roots in Common" took place on Saturday, September 20, and Sunday, September 21, 2025, in the gardens of the Rocca Abbaziale in Subiaco, following the postponement of the original late August dates due to bad weather. Saturday was dedicated to the gastronomic walking tour, a journey of taste featuring iconic local dishes: pumpui (fried zucchini flowers), truffle ravioli, gnocchi with wild boar ragù, coratella, cured meats and sheep's milk cheeses, fried doughnuts, ciambelle, pasta with sour cherries, and the Salame del Ré, accompanied by wines from Lazio and Abruzzo. On Sunday evening, the festival culminated in the panarda, the grand outdoor communal dinner, followed by the traditional Pantasema dance with saltarello, zampogna, tamburella, and organetto. Free admission with tastings available for a contribution.
