There is an event that for decades has united radio amateurs, tinkerers, collectors, and the curious: the Radioamatore Tech Expo in Pordenone. Founded in 1966, it is the oldest and most important Italian fair in the sector, a large market where electronics, computing, and radio meet in an accessible format for everyone, with stalls of components, equipment, and hard-to-find items.

Much More Than a Radio Amateur Fair

Over the years, the event has expanded to become a true celebration of technology. Alongside radio amateur equipment, there is space for robotics and 3D printing, vintage and analog hi-fi, vintage photography, collectibles (stamps, models, historical objects), and a section dedicated to historic radios curated by the Interactive Radio Museum. For car enthusiasts, the event also hosts Alto Adriatico Motori d'Epoca, featuring vintage cars and motorcycles.

The event is organized by the Associazione Radioamatori di Pordenone (Pordenone Radio Amateurs Association), founded in 1966, at the Pordenone Fiere exhibition center. Edition after edition, the fair celebrates the culture of technological DIY and the community that revolves around it.
