The Quatar Pass Sota i Öcc da San Mamett is the non-competitive free-walk event that enlivens Oltrona di San Mamette, in the province of Como, every spring. The dialectal name, which recalls "four steps under the eyes of San Mamete", tells the spirit of the walk: discovering the beauties of the territory on foot, without haste and without rankings.
Routes for everyone
The event offers four routes of different lengths: 6 km (ideal for families and children), 11 km (for a good walk), 15 km (for those seeking a bit of effort), and 22 km (for more experienced walkers). The start is from Piazza Libertà, the heart of the town, from which the routes wind through hills, woods, and glimpses of the Como area.
A celebration of sport and territory
Organized by the Unione Sportiva Oltronese, the Quatar Pass is an event of international character that attracts walking enthusiasts from all over the area. More than a race, it is a celebration of being together outdoors, which enhances the landscape and traditions of Oltrona di San Mamette, a small municipality in the province of Como.

On Sunday, April 19, 2026, Oltrona di San Mamette hosts the Quatar Pass Sota i Öcc da San Mamett, a non-competitive free-walk. Four routes are available: 6 km for families and children, 11 km, 15 km, and 22 km for more experienced walkers.
The registration desk opens at 7:30 AM and closes at 9:30 AM, with departures between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM from Piazza Libertà. Registration is possible online or on-site.
