Twice a month, the Snam car park on via Emilia, in San Donato Milanese (province of Milan), transforms into a large open-air flea market, where stalls and stands offer everything: furniture, vintage items, books, records, prints, and a thousand curiosities to discover.
From dawn until early afternoon
The market takes place on the second, fourth (and sometimes fifth) Sunday of the month, with early opening hours: stalls open from 6 AM and the activity continues until 2 PM. Arriving at dawn, after all, is part of the game: it is in the early hours that the most discerning collectors find the best deals, rummaging through the stalls in search of the right piece.
Not just antiques
As the name suggests, it's not just antiques here. The second Sunday of the month is also dedicated to exchanges among children, who can swap toys, books, video games, and clothes. It's a way to involve families and give the market a community dimension, in addition to its role in collecting.
