Festa di Ponte Lambro

A celebration for an outlying neighbourhood

The Festa di Ponte Lambro was created to give a voice and space to one of Milan's most peripheral and distinctive neighbourhoods, in Municipality 4. The event takes place at Parco Serrati, at Via Giacinto Serrati Menotti 9, and for one day transforms the green area into a meeting point for residents, associations, and families.

A programme for all ages

The day brings together different forms of expression: musical workshops, theatre and clown shows, spaces dedicated to bartering, the neighbourhood library, a food area, and numerous surprises designed for children. A mix that well reflects the project's spirit: culture, social interaction, and participation, experienced in the neighbourhood's spaces.

Part of the Peace&Sport project

The festival is part of the Peace&Sport 2026 programme by Municipality 4 of Milan (Province of Milan, Lombardy), carried out in collaboration with the association OUTSIDE. This is the third edition of an event that has become, year after year, an anticipated moment for the Ponte Lambro community, an opportunity to come together and rediscover the value of the neighbourhood's public spaces.

Ponte Lambro, a neighbourhood that tells its story

Ponte Lambro is a small neighbourhood on the south-eastern edge of Milan, squeezed between the ring road and the Lambro river, with a history of marginality but also of strong identity and a vibrant associative fabric. For this very reason, the Festa di Ponte Lambro takes on a value that goes beyond a single day: it is a way to give visibility to the neighbourhood, enhance its energies, and create opportunities for encounters between the different generations and communities that live there. Initiatives such as workshops, bartering spaces, and the neighbourhood library reflect an idea of celebration made not only of entertainment but also of participation, care for relationships, and attention to children, in line with the spirit of the Peace&Sport programme of Municipality 4.
