A month of events dedicated to the female universe in Corinaldo
Primavera delle Donne is the cultural festival that the Municipality of Corinaldo, in the province of Ancona (Marche), dedicates every year to the month of March and the female universe. Structured in numerous events spread throughout the month, the festival combines reflection on the rights and role of women in society with a rich program of shows, concerts, meetings, and convivial moments, in a village that is among the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy.
During the festival, the historic center of Corinaldo is transformed: floral arrangements, symbols, and lyrics of songs dedicated to female strength appear in the most emblematic places of the town, from the Fountain to the Town Hall, from the famous Piaggia staircase to the Goldoni Theatre and the Piazzetta delle Erbe. A widespread path that accompanies residents and visitors through art, culture, and memory.
The heart of Primavera delle Donne is the Goldoni Theatre, which hosts recitals, concerts, and readings: from musical dialogues at the piano to poetic DJ sets dedicated to the great female voices of literature. Alongside the theatrical events, the festival offers:
An element that characterizes the event is the attention to women's health: each edition includes a day of free screenings, organized in collaboration with healthcare facilities and local associations such as Pubblica Assistenza AVIS and ANDOS, confirming the project's social vocation.
Promoted by the Municipal Administration of Corinaldo with the involvement of local associations, clubs, and cultural realities, Primavera delle Donne is above all an opportunity to reflect, ask questions, and grow as a community. With free or low-cost admission, the festival confirms the deep link between the Marche village and a tradition of widespread cultural initiatives that animate Corinaldo throughout the year.
The 2026 edition opened on Saturday, March 7 at the Goldoni Theatre (9:00 PM) with "Note di Colore - Dialogues in the feminine of musical souls", a piano recital by Ilenia Stella, with free admission. On Sunday, March 8, the municipal administration's greetings at the S. M. Goretti Foundation (10:00 AM) preceded, at 5:30 PM at the Goldoni, the show "Lucio Battisti, chiacchiere e canzoni" produced by Teatro Time (ticket 10 euros).
The program continued with the day of female screenings (Saturday, March 14, Sala Pubblica Assistenza AVIS), a visit to the exhibition "Mirabilia Marche" with curator Andrea Bruciati (Sunday, March 15, Civica Raccolta d'Arte Claudio Ridolfi), "Donne in Circolo" a space for speech and listening (Friday, March 20, Space), board games with Terra Ludyca (Saturday, March 21, Municipal Library), and the charity burraco tournament "BurracAndos" (Wednesday, March 25, Circolo ACLI).
Among the final events were the "Poetic DJ Set" by Francesca Berardi dedicated to the rebellious souls of Anaïs Nin, Sarah Kane, and Sylvia Plath (Friday, March 27, Goldoni Theatre, free admission) and the training conference "Un Marzo di Cambia-Menti. Protecting women, empowering men" (Tuesday, March 31, Palazzo Ma).
The events take place in various locations in the historic center of Corinaldo (AN): Goldoni Theatre, Municipal Library, Claudio Ridolfi Civic Art Collection, Palazzo Ma Hall, and other city spaces.
Corinaldo can be reached by car from the Senigallia exit of the A14 motorway, continuing inland for about 20 km. The nearest train station is Senigallia, on the Adriatic line, from which you can continue by bus or taxi.
