About Portofino Days
Fiction takes center stage on the Riviera
The Portofino Days – International Fiction Festival is the international festival dedicated to audiovisual fiction that takes place every year in March between Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo, and Genoa. Promoted by the Liguria Region, the Municipality of Portofino, and the Genoa Liguria Film Commission, under the direction of Cristina Bolla, the festival showcases the state of the art of television series and its future trajectories.
Three days of great fiction
The program alternates previews of international series and fiction, masterclasses with authors, directors, and actors, panels on audiovisual professions, on soundtracks, and on internationalization themes. The events are aimed at the general public as well as enthusiasts and industry professionals.
A festival spread across the Tigullio
The traveling format across the four locations enhances the territory: from the halls of the Ligurian capital to the historic villas of Tigullio, up to the village of Portofino, a glamorous setting that hosts the festival's gala evening. An event that combines the audiovisual industry, culture, and tourism promotion of the Riviera di Levante.
Portofino Days — edition 2026
For 2026, Portofino Days returns for its third edition from March 27 to 29, with masterclasses opening on March 26 at Villa Durazzo in Santa Margherita Ligure. Among the announced events are the premiere of the series NCIS: Origins, masterclasses with audiovisual professionals, and the Portofino Excellence Night at Castello Brown in Portofino. Events will be held in Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo, and Genoa.

How to get there
By train: stations of Rapallo, Santa Margherita Ligure-Portofino, and Genoa on the Genoa-La Spezia line. By car: A12 toll booths of Rapallo or Recco. Bus and boat connections are available between the Tigullio locations.
