Renzo Rubino's traveling festival arrives in Fasano for the first time
For the first time in its history, Porto Rubino stops in Fasano, in the province of Brindisi. The traveling festival conceived and directed by Apulian singer-songwriter Renzo Rubino has chosen the seaside hamlet of Savelletri and the sea-facing Parco di Cala Masciola for its 2026 edition, which will host one of the three evenings of the eighth edition on July 16. Savelletri ideally takes the baton after the years spent in Monopoli, bringing a new route along the Adriatic coast to Puglia.
The Fasano stop is titled «Porto Rubino Balla» and represents the most nocturnal and pulsating evening of the festival, where rhythm guides the journey and club culture meets the allure of the Mediterranean. The stage overlooking the water will feature Acid Arab, the Franco-Algerian collective that blends electronic music with Arabic sounds, Dardust, one of the most sought-after Italian producers, and DJ-producers Frenetik and Jolly Mare. The famous boat, symbol of Porto Rubino, will be placed on dry land in the center of the lawn, allowing the audience to dance all around it in an immersive experience with the sound of the sea in the background.
Born from an idea by Renzo Rubino, Porto Rubino has become one of the landmarks of the Italian musical summer over the years: a journey that unites land and sea, artists and the public, moving every night to a different port in Puglia. Throughout its editions, it has hosted top-tier names such as Mahmood, Levante, Niccolò Fabi, and Daniele Silvestri; the 2021 edition became a documentary film presented at the Rome Film Fest, and in 2022, it became a television program on Rai 2. The eighth edition in 2026 is divided into three thematic stops: Taranto on July 14 with «Porto Rubino Pensa» (words and storytelling, with Carmen Consoli, Angelica Bove, Concita De Gregorio, and Erica Mou), Savelletri di Fasano on July 16 with «Porto Rubino Balla», and Otranto on July 18 with «Porto Rubino Canta» (Ditonellapiaga, Venerus, Vale LP, and Nico Arezzo).
The setting for the stop is the Parco di Cala Masciola, a stone's throw from the fishing village of Savelletri, in the Municipality of Fasano. It is one of the most evocative corners of the Fasano coast, where the Mediterranean scrub meets the clear waters of the Adriatic: a natural amphitheater that, at sunset, turns into the ideal backdrop for a night of live music and DJ sets, with a maximum capacity of about two thousand spectators per evening to preserve the intimacy of the event.
The Savelletri stop is a ticketed event, with pre-sale tickets available on Vivaticket. There is also the Gozzo Club, an exclusive reserved area with dedicated services to experience the concert from a privileged perspective. As it is a limited-capacity event by the sea, purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.
