About Pollini in Jazz

Pollini in Jazz is the summer festival of the Jazz Department of the Cesare Pollini Conservatory in Padua. For several evenings, the Arena Gardens, adjacent to the Scrovegni Chapel, transform into an open-air stage hosting concerts by students and faculty, big bands, jam sessions, and international guests. A free event with voluntary contributions that opens Padua's musical summer with the rhythms of American jazz, in one of the city's most evocative settings.

Jazz under the stars at the Arena Gardens

Pollini in Jazz is the summer festival organized by the Jazz Department of the Cesare Pollini Conservatory in Padua. For several evenings, the Arena Gardens, the historic gardens adjacent to the Scrovegni Chapel and the Eremitani Museum, become an open-air stage dedicated to American music.

Students, faculty, and international guests

The festival brings together the young talents of the Conservatory with their faculty and internationally renowned musicians: students from undergraduate and graduate courses, the Pollini Big Band, jam sessions, tributes, and ensembles featuring leading names in Italian and international jazz take turns on stage. It's an opportunity to hear live, for free, the jazz scene growing in the Pollini classrooms.

A highlight of the Paduan summer

Free admission with voluntary contributions, food & beverage service, and the relaxed atmosphere of the gardens make Pollini in Jazz one of the most beloved events of Padua's summer, in Veneto. In case of rain, concerts will be moved to the Pollini Auditorium.
