Concerts in the alleys of Rivello, in the cloister of the Monastery of Sant'Antonio
Perched on a ridge between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Pollino National Park, in the province of Potenza, Rivello is one of the most picturesque villages in Basilicata. Every summer, this landscape becomes the natural backdrop for the Polifonìe Music Festival: concerts in the historic center and starry nights of celebration in the alleys, in an intimate and secluded atmosphere rarely found at large festivals.
The heart of the event is the cloister of the Monastery of Sant'Antonio, a place of great charm that hosts the main concerts under the Lucanian sky. Here, the audience experiences music in a unique setting, where history, architecture, and sound dialogue in perfect balance.
Polifonìe is a festival dedicated in particular to indie, alternative, and singer-songwriter music, with a program focused on emerging artists and protagonists of the new Italian scene. The lineup changes every year and mixes well-known names of young singer-songwriters with discoveries, offering a rich and varied program spread over several days.
Organized by the Associazione Culturale Terrarossa (Terrarossa Cultural Association), Polifonìe is much more than a series of concerts: it's an opportunity to discover Rivello, its alleys, its churches, and its landscapes, and to experience the inland Basilicata in a contemporary and lively way. An ideal event for those seeking quality music away from the most crowded circuits.
The Polifonìe Music Festival 2026 returns to Rivello from August 7 to 9, with the cloister of the Monastery of Sant'Antonio as the main stage.
