About Pink Run
A pink river in the heart of Padua
The Pink Run is one of the most popular sporting and solidarity events of spring in Padua. It is a non-competitive run for women, to be completed by running or simply walking, along an 8-kilometre route that winds through the streets of the historic centre of Padua, starting and finishing in Prato della Valle, one of the largest squares in Europe.
Sport, celebration, and friendship
The event is organised by the non-profit association Pink Amici and goes far beyond the run itself: the event village enlivens the Prato from the morning onwards and, after the finish, the day continues with music, entertainment, and a celebration open to all participants. It is an event designed for women of all ages, to be enjoyed in groups, with friends, family, or colleagues, all united by the colour pink.
A run with a purpose
The heart of the Pink Run is solidarity: part of the registration fee is a donation made each year to a local charitable project, particularly in support of paediatric palliative care and the Paediatric Hospice of Padua. Running the Pink Run therefore means combining the pleasure of exercise with a concrete commitment to one's community, in one of the most heartfelt pink events in the Veneto region.
Pink Run — edition 2026
The 17th edition of the Pink Run takes place on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Prato della Valle, Padua. The 8 km non-competitive run, reserved for women and also walkable, starts at 5:00 PM. The event takes place regardless of the weather.
The event village comes alive in Prato della Valle from the morning; bib collection is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday, May 10, until 4:30 PM. After the finish, the event continues with a celebration open to all participants, featuring music and entertainment.
The 2026 edition's charitable project supports the Braccio di Ferro Association, which is involved in paediatric palliative care and supporting the families of young patients at the Paediatric Hospice of Padua, with a project dedicated to sleep assessment in children.
