Photo '90 Val Tidone

A historic event for photography enthusiasts

Organized by the Val Tidone Castle Images Association in collaboration with the City of Castel San Giovanni, Photo '90 Val Tidone is one of the longest-running and best-known photography exhibition-markets in Northern Italy. With two events a year, in spring and autumn, the event attracts collectors and exhibitors from all over the peninsula to the Area Sport in Via F.lli Boselli, in the heart of the Piacenza plain, in Emilia-Romagna.

What's on display

Over two hundred linear meters of stalls offer the chance to admire, purchase, and exchange photographic equipment from all eras: from mechanical gems like Leica, Hasselblad, Rolleiflex, Nikon, and Canon to the latest mirrorless technologies. There are also rare lenses, photography books and manuals, cinema memorabilia, and a wide selection of accessories such as bags, filters, and tripods. The event is the ideal place for both the expert collector and those taking their first steps into analog photography.

Services and guests

A appreciated feature of Photo '90 is the presence of specialized technicians offering free equipment checks and a quick sensor cleaning service. Each edition also features meetings with guests from the world of photography, art, and entertainment, with book presentations, signing sessions, and opportunities for discussion with the public.
