The patron saint of Gera Lario on the Upper Lake Como
The Patronal Feast of Saint Vincent celebrates the patron saint of Gera Lario (Province of Como), a village overlooking the Upper Lake Como, at the northern end of the Larian region. The patron saint, Saint Vincent Martyr, is at the center of an event deeply linked to the community's identity.
The feast, organized by the parish in collaboration with the Pro Loco Gera Lario, includes religious celebrations in honor of the saint and moments of gathering for the villagers:
In a small municipality like Gera Lario, the patronal feast takes on a special value: it is an opportunity for the community to come together around its patron saint, renewing the sense of belonging and the traditions of a territory of great scenic beauty, where Lake Como meets the mountains.
The 2026 edition of the patronal feast takes place on January 22, in honor of Saint Vincent Martyr, patron saint of Gera Lario. The religious celebrations in the parish church bring together the community of the Larian village in a moment of prayer and gathering, according to the village traditions.
Gera Lario is located at the northern end of Lake Como, in the province of Como, along the Regina state road (SS340). The parish church is in the center of the village.
Free admission to religious celebrations, which follow the parish schedule.
