Ozzero's Most Cherished Festival
The Patronal Feast of Our Lady of the Belt is the main event of the year for Ozzero, a small Municipality in the Metropolitan City of Milan nestled in the Lombard Park of the Valle del Ticino, along the Bereguardo Naviglio. It is traditionally celebrated in early September, around the first Sunday of the month, and lasts for four days.
The festival intertwines two souls. There is the devotional dimension, with religious celebrations and the procession in honor of Our Lady of the Belt; and there is the popular dimension, made up of musical evenings, shows, food stalls, and gatherings that attract residents from neighboring towns.
A Village Festival Between the Naviglio and the Countryside
Organized by the Municipality of Ozzero with the parish and local associations, the festival is a time for the community to come together. In past editions, the program has alternated community dinners and risotto events at the sports field, markets, agricultural markets, and evening shows. While remaining a village festival, in some editions it has also hosted well-known entertainment personalities.
For visitors to the area, the festival is an opportunity to discover Ozzero and the Ticino Park, along the paths of the Bereguardo Naviglio and the countryside southwest of Milan.

The Patronal Feast of Our Lady of the Belt returns to Ozzero in 2026, as a fixed annual event in early September.
